Our mission is to act as the "meeting place" for news and top notch resources on the ethical, legal and social issues (often referred to as “ELSI”) around personal genome sequencing.  We develop and share - free of charge - high quality and scientifically precise curricular materials related to personal genetics.

This website features introductory materials that cover some of the big ideas and controversies, and provides educational information for people considering personal genome analysis.

Our outreach efforts include speaking at conferences, giving lectures and workshops, and visiting high school and college classrooms in person, as well as via videoconferencing.  For more information on requesting a visit, please email Dana Waring at dwaring@pged.med.harvard.edu

If you are a teacher and are seeking information or support in using our materials, please contact Lauren Tomaselli at ltomaselli@pged.med.harvard.edu
